A Prayer For Our Country and this Coming Election

1 Timothy 2:1-6

God, please give us leaders who will make righteous decisions in accordance to your will so that “we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.” I pray, Almighty God, that you will give us leaders whose decisions will afford us the greatest opportunities possible to win souls to you. I pray, believing that “this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior; who will have all men to be saved and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.” Thank you, that our Savior Jesus “gave himself a ransom for all.” I pray these things for Jesus’ sake and for the gospel’s sake, and in Jesus’ name, Amen.
